Been a while, but training has been happening!

It's been a while since I posted, but there has been a-trainin-goins-on. I've gotten up to 4x(1;2;3), and if my memory serves me correctly, I'll be hitting 5 ladders come Monday's workout (which means I'm just that much closer to earning my 24kg kettlebell, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Still have to do wacky things like save enough money to be able to afford to buy it in the first place, which may or may not coincide with me ordering a whole bloody slew of them (a 12kg for Kelly, who's already finding the 8kg ones she's working with on the light side, and perhaps a "full set" — another 16kg a 24kg and a 32kg for myself — though that will depend on package deal prices, how much I have available to me, and where I'm ordering them from...and whether or not she actually wants the heavier bell.).

Where was I?

Good to hear your thoughts. I'm glad I'm not the only one. In my circle of friends, 2 of my best friends are working out and I'm the only one who has discovered Kettlebells. The rest of my non-workout buddies think I've lost my mind, what with my slightly rabid enthusiasm. I'm expecting a small windfall soon and am trying to figure out what sizes I need and whether I need 1 or 2-12kg and can I justify getting the 16kg at the same time. My turkish getup is coming along and I'm learning to do pushups. My RKC trainer, Jen Waak, is great and has some good info at www.movefitfun.com

Keep up the good work, Jake, and keep blogging. I need the support. :)

@Mamazon: Keep up the good work! I wish I had an RKC in my area, but sadly the closest folks are down in the Philly area (4+ hours away), so I'll probably wind up continuing on my own for at least another year...maybe by then I'll be ready to start thinking about taking a weekend or two a month to hit up an RKC somewhere close-ish to prepare me for my own RKC... or at least such is the plan...
